Mark Travis
Mark is a co-founder of Intrepid Capital. He is the lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Capital Fund, the separately managed Intrepid Balanced portfolio, and the Intrepid Capital, L.P.
Mark is also a co-lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Income Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Income portfolio. He has over 30 years of experience in asset management.
Mark received his BA degree in Economics from the University of Georgia. Mr. Travis serves on the Board of Trustees of The Bolles School and the Board of Directors of Jacksonville Clay Target Sports. He is also a member of the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club and YPO-WPO.
Hunter Hayes, CFA
Hunter joined Intrepid Capital in 2017. He is a co-lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Income Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Income portfolio. Mr. Hayes is also a member of the investment team responsible for the Intrepid Capital Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Balanced portfolio. Hunter focuses primarily on fixed income investments and was previously a research analyst covering small cap securities.
Mr. Hayes received his BS BA degree, magna cum laude, in Finance, and his BM degree, magna cum laude, in Performance Piano from Auburn University.
Matt Parker, CFA, CPA
Matt joined Intrepid Capital in 2014. Mr. Parker is a co-lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Income Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Income portfolio. He is also a member of the investment team responsible for the Intrepid Capital Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Balanced portfolio. Matt focuses primarily fixed income investments.
A CFA Charterholder, Mr. Parker received his Master of Accounting degree and a BS in Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Joe Van Cavage, CFA
Joe joined Intrepid Capital in 2018. He is a co-lead portfolio manager of the Intrepid Income Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Income portfolio. Mr. Van Cavage is also a member of the investment team responsible for the Intrepid Capital Fund and the separately managed Intrepid Balanced portfolio. Joe focuses primarily on fixed income investments.
A CFA Charterholder, Mr. Van Cavage received his Master of Business Administration and BS in Civil Engineering degrees from the University of Florida.
